Lot 636: GUNS N' ROSES MTV VIDEO MUSIC AWARD

An MTV Moonman from 1987-1988 for Best New Artist presented to Guns N' Roses for its song "Welcome to the Jungle." The song was the second single from the band's debut album Appetite for Destruction (Geffen, 1987). Guns N' Roses won MTV Video Music Awards the following year in 1989 for "Sweet Child O' Mine" and in 1992 for "November Rain."
