The Doors RIAA Gold Record Award (Elektra EKS-74007, 1967)

Their eponymous debut album, featuring the single "Light My Fire," is ranked by Rolling Stone as number forty-two on their "500 Greatest Albums of All Time." According to the plaque beneath the gold disc, this award was "Presented to Elektra Records to Commemorate the Sale of More Than 500,000 Copies of the Elektra Records Long-Playing Record Album The Doors." Framed to an overall 17" x 21" and in Excellent condition.
