ROBBIE KRIEGER OWNED AND PLAYED GUITAR

Black Fender Stratocaster, serial number N988679, owned and played by Robbie Krieger. Krieger is best known as the guitarist and songwriter for The Doors. Guitar bears a lizard sticker presumably in honor of “The Lizard King,” accompanied by a hard case with “The Doors” insignia on interior and a signed photograph of Krieger with the guitar. Krieger’s songwriting writing credits include “Light My Fire,” “Love Her Madly,” and “Love Me Two Times.” A flamenco guitarist, Krieger brings a unique fingerstyling approach to the electric guitar. After The Doors disbanded he went on to form The Robby Krieger Band.
