One of the best-selling singles of all time. It stayed atop the British charts for nine weeks when first released in 1975 and then again for five weeks upon its re-release in 1991 due to its appearance in the film Wayne's World. According to the plaque beneath the gold disc, this award was "Presented To Freddie Mercury To Commemorate The Sale Of More Than One Million Copies Of The Elektra Records Single Record 'Bohemian Rhapsody'". Framed to an overall 12.75" x 16.75", and in Excellent condition with a few minor scratches on the frame. This award was part of a large collection that was displayed in the lobby of the California Gold Record Company and was obtained after the company was sold.
