The passing of "The Man in Black" left a large void in American music. Few performers have ever been able to convey the pain and suffering of a hard life more genuinely than Cash, whose craggy face and gravelly voice were a singular testament to the angst behind the hulking figure he presented on stage singing such gut-wrenching classics like "Folson Prison Blues", "I Walk the Line" and "Ring of Fire". This terrific find, a Cash concert setlist written by Johnny himself, reflects this eclectic sensibility with the three above classics mixed with ditties like "Any Old Wind", "Orange Blossom" "Why Me?", "Get Rhythm", "Ghost Riders", "Over the Next Hill", etc. List is written on notebook paper and also has the notation "John & June", meaning a duet with his wife June Carter Cash, whose death in 2003 preceded his by 4 months. VG, with a few fold marks and patches of soiling.
