Lou Reed's most enduring song, "Walk on the Wild Side," from the David Bowie-produced album "Transformer," reached #16 on the U.S. singles chart the same week he played the Berkeley Community Center. Accompanying the 11" x 17" poster and 5.5" x 8.5" handbill for this gig is a 3.75" x 8.5" handbill for a Santa Monica Civic show four days later. A Kinks and Rory Gallagher show is also advertised on the handbill. The poster exhibits a middle fold; otherwise EX., handbills are NM. Estimate $300-$500.
