Janis Joplin's Greatest Hits RIAA Gold Record Award (Columbia PC-32168, 1973)

A posthumous overview of her brief but stellar recording career; it eventually went 7x platinum. According to the plaque beneath the gold disc, this award was "Presented to Don Celiste to Commemorate the Sale of More Than 500,000 Copies of the Columbia Records Long-Playing Record Album Janis Joplin's Greatest Hits." Framed to an overall 17" x 21" and in very good condition with a few scratches on the frame and a few fingerprints, scratches and tarnish on the disc.
