DAVID BOWIE Unreleased Station To Station Color Album Cover Slick GUARANTEED

Here we have an unreleased full-color album cover slick for David Bowie’s 1976 album Station to Station. Bowie first contemplated using this full color photograph for his album cover, but before releasing it changed his mind and switched to the well known black and white cover. A small number of color slicks have surfaced over the years. Album cover slicks were printed on thin paper and then pasted to blank cardboard jackets to produce album covers. This example was given by Michael Olsen, head of the Bowie fan club at the time, to a close friend (Olsen gave one at the same time to Recordmecca’s Jeff Gold, a well-known Bowie collector.)
