David Bowie and photographer Mick Rock collaborated on this lavish look at Bowie's most interesting period as a pop performer. The 346 page book was issued in celebration of the 30th anniversary of Bowie's landmark 1972 concept album, The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars. This incredible book is the last word on Ziggy and the first book by David Bowie himself. It's printed using fourteen different paper stocks and bound in full blue leather with a gold Ziggy lightning bolt, and cradled in a cloth-covered solander box. A deluxe print of a shirtless Bowie on stage is included, with a Mick Rock autograph. There a very minor amount of handling wear; otherwise, the book is in Near Mint condition.
